PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Jessica provides ongoing advisory services to companies and organizations in Chile and Latin America on compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations, privacy impact assessments for significant regional and national projects, and to various governments and international organizations such as ECLAC, UN Women Chile, among others. Co-founder of Datos Protegidos Foundation (2015) and the Internet Society Chile (2020), initiatives aimed at promoting data privacy and security, as well as a free, open, and collaborative Internet. Co-coordinator for Latin America of the project “Strengthening the Strategy Against Gender-Based Violence on the Internet”, under the Eurosocial+ Program for Social Cohesion in Latin America (2021-2022). Expert role at Hay Mujeres Foundation, promoting the visibility of women professionals with expertise, and coordinator for Chile at the Women in Privacy Network of the Latin American Privacy Association (ALAP).
