Santiago focuses on corporate, financing and M&A matters.

Relevant Transactions: (i) Structuring of a preferred equity financing for Kavak on warrants, through the creation of the Activa Movilidad Private Investment Fund, managed by Larraín Vial Activos S.A. Administradora General de Fondos (2023); (ii) Advised Ascenty Chile SpA in the granting of a syndicated loan by Natixis, MUFG and The Bank of Nova Scotia (2023); (iii) Advised Olive House Films in a loan agreement granted by Ashland Hill to finance the production and post-production of the film Olive House (2023); (iv) Advising Sucden Chile SpA in the granting of a line of credit for a financing granted by Rabobank (2023); (v) Advising on the structuring of a financing for Dlocal Chile SpA, through the assignment of collection rights to Fondo de Inversión Activa Pagos Digitales, managed by Larraín Vial Activos S.A. Administradora General de Fondos (2023).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

From 2016 to 2020, with Barros y Errázuriz Abogados, corporate, financing and investment funds matters. Secondment at LarrainVial Asset Management Administradora General de Fondos.

From 2021 to 2022, with Deloitte Legal, focusing on corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions.

Santiago joined Magliona Abogados in September 2022.
